Always keep ample water near you, and a brief snack during/between rounds is acceptable (fruit, fruit/granola bars, crisps, etc.); when competing online, please do not eat a full meal during rounds -- save that for breaks between rounds.

Relax & Recharge

Take time to relax and clear your head between rounds. Prepare ahead of the tournament, so you can literally give yourself a “brain break.” Several studies in fatigue and productivity underscore how this will help you, competitively!
