About this Site

CongressionalDebate.org was founded in 2005 by Adam J. Jacobi, who at the time, was director of forensics at Rufus King International Baccalaureate High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Today, he directs Congressional Debate programming for the Harvard Debate Council, including their Summer Workshop, and their high school tournament in February.

The site's aim is to provide free and easy access to educational and contest materials for Congressional Debate, as well as to promote consistent application of best practices at interscholastic tournaments.
